Forecast

AUGUST 7TH_____ Most recent forecast has been extremely favourable, with microbreweries sweeping across the horizon as from Vancouver down to Seattle and Portland, arriving as south as Sacramento, California!  Mostly cold and gassy (the beer, not Mike!) the beer has tended to be mixed – partly wheaty, partly IPA, but always changing…from full to empty!

Unpredictable weather coming up, with unknown territories in New Zealand bringing uncertain public (house!) climates.  Information being currently scanned.!!

July 13th >>> having had several days of rather jolly fine weather (and consequent refreshments!!) we are now in a bit of a dip.  In as musch as hail the size of big toes yesterday and a forecast of cloud and showers over the next 2 or 3 days.  And that means… more red wine than white probably!!!

5TH JULY om . . . Again clouds predominate the lunchtime forecast, but with brightness arriving mid-afternoon with the appearence of Happy Hour specials!!  A big thing in bars here, appetizers like Chicken Wings and White/Wheat beers tend to be offered at agreeable rates.

SO: Overall, showers from above, Cloudy with a chance of Chicken Wings with wheat blowing in from 4th Street’s finest establishments!!

JUNE 22ND, Tuesday: Overall the week ahead is a mixed bag:  Weather is supposedly warm in the mid-20’s with a fair chance of thundershowers.  Bar-Wise, 8am tomorrow at the local pun for the England – Slovenia game shows strong potential, with the week continuing with Chardonnay-showers and regular patches of hops and malts !!

11th June, 2010: General forecast is good, with football sweeping in from the south followed by a kebab from the middle-east, finishing with localized beer-ing!  Long range is unclear though, as we know not what Canada will offer in terms of sunny periods and micro-brew climates!!  Keep ‘em peeled!

JUNE 3RD_____Weather wise a bit cloudy but fairly warm (Lake Tahoe), about 65C.  Beer outlook is equally average – not so many micro’s up here, but the search will continue!  Bar near our campsite is overing PBR at $2!! (PBR=Pabst Blue Ribbon. Yuck!)  Next 10days are our last to sample the local wineries near Morgan Hill…Ahh, go on then!!

25 MAY: Weather 4Cast is decidedly average – to the extent that its almost like being in England.  Booze-wise should be good again as almost every town seems to have either a brewery or a brewpub of some sort.  And if they dont the bars all stock 10beers each on average!  Yippeee!

MAY 15.  Forecast is: very sunny and hot – maybe reaching 80C, although the personal forecast for our livers and kidneys is less bright!!

MAY 13th: Weather = Good. About 75+ degC. Beer = V. Good, cos there’s a brewpub, wineries, several bars, CostCo wholesalers  etc                                                      “Good Times” !

MAY 8th, Saturday | today in LA is 68C

Tomorrow in San Jose is reported to be about 64C.  Well thats just not fair!

Beer Forecast: Today Very Good…brewpub this arvo followed by free beer tonight at a crashed wedding!!  Tomorrow, unclear, but likely to be good as first day in San Jose at Robin & Tamara’s!!

April 21st, LA:

forecast is a bit mixed for the next few days!  Whilst England basks in some half – decent weather, LA will be Cloudy and 18. Good job we went to Mexico to start on our tans!!  However, it will be sunny by the w/e!

BEER FORECAST is V Good as Naja’s Bar is having a week-long IPA Beer Festival: shame!  Prob not the same as the ones we used to go on back in Shriv, but its only a 4min walk from the house!  And its by the beach!

Big Love and Peace in the East, Mike and Jane!
