aka So Long YYC, Greeting YVR (3-letter city codes don’t you know?!)
After a great 6weeks staying with – and moving – JT, we hopped on the 7pm Greyhound bus from Calgary on Friday and ventured westward on a 13hour road journey to Vancouver as part of our ‘epic?’ bus trip to San Fran.
We’ll be staying here Sat and Sun nights at the Cambie Hostel in Gastown (no comments about farts please!). A good 1/2 hour walk to the beach area of west Vanc, we’ll be able to watch the world’s biggest firework spectacle tonight with the “Celebration of Light” fireworks competition, featuring China! More blog about that tomorrow, aswell as any details about the Gay Pride festival here this weekend also!!
